‘Real Housewives of New York’ Alums to Star in New E! Reality Show
The iconic stars of the original “Real Housewives of New York” are making a comeback in a new reality docuseries titled “The Golden Life.” Countess Luann de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Sonja Morgan are reuniting with their New York City friend group in glamorous Palm Beach for a 10-episode series produced by Blink49 Studios. The show, set to start filming in South Florida this spring, has been greenlit by Versant’s E! cabler.
These “RHONY” OGs have a long history with the show, with de Lesseps and Singer appearing in all 13 seasons from 2008 to 2021, Zarin in Seasons 1 through 4, Bensimon in Seasons 2 through 4, and Morgan from Seasons 3 to 13. Fans have eagerly awaited this reunion, and Versant entertainment president Val Boreland expressed excitement for the electric energy and new chapter that the show will bring.
Senior VP of development, unscripted, at Versant, Cori Abraham, shared that the return of these reality TV royalty was highly requested by fans. The show will capture the group’s dynamics as they navigate life in their “golden” years in Palm Beach, showcasing their humor, non-stop hijinks, and thriving social scene. Despite unresolved drama from the past, the friends are embarking on a fresh start together in the Sunshine State.
Executive producers Tara Long, Nadine Rajabi, Mark Ford, and Ben Megargel are set to bring this new chapter of the “Real Housewives” saga to life on screen.
