A shocking incident occurred at pop star Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion on Sunday when a woman allegedly fired several shots with a rifle, with one bullet even piercing a wall of the home. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear, leaving both Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky in the dark about the reason behind the attack.
Fortunately, Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured in the incident. LAPD officers swiftly responded to reports of gunfire and apprehended the female suspect responsible for firing between seven and nine rounds from an AR-15-style rifle. The suspect was later caught and arrested at a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks.
Residents in the neighborhood were left shaken by the incident, with one witness describing the sound of the shots as a loud pop that echoed in the valley. Despite living in a quiet neighborhood, the presence of tour buses constantly passing by indicates that Rihanna’s mansion is a known location in the area.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky reside in a colonial-style mansion in Beverly Hills with their children. The couple shares three kids – RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki Irish Mayers. LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is now handling the case to determine the motive behind the shooting.
This is not the first time Rihanna has faced a security breach at her residence. In 2018, a man broke into her Hollywood Hills home and camped out for 12 hours before being discovered. The intruder was later convicted of stalking and issued a stay-away order from Rihanna.
