Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 and Watch 9 Appear on GSMA Database
Samsung is gearing up for a busy year ahead, with plans for new hardware releases following the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. While all eyes are currently on the upcoming flagship smartphones, reports from Smartprix have shed light on Samsung’s tablet and wearables lineup for the rest of the year.
According to the GSMA IMEI database listings, Samsung is set to release the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Watch 9, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. These devices have been spotted with their respective model numbers, hinting at what’s to come from the tech giant.
Interestingly, the absence of a regular Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 model suggests that Samsung may be focusing on premium and large-screened tablets this year. In the past, we have seen a regular model alongside an Ultra variant, but this time it seems Samsung is doubling down on the premium segment.
On the wearable front, the highlight is the upcoming second-generation Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. The original Galaxy Watch Ultra, launched in 2024, catered to pro athletes with its rugged design and advanced features. The new iteration is expected to build upon this success and offer even more capabilities to users.
With these devices making appearances on the GSMA IMEI database, it is likely that Samsung will launch them around September. This timeframe coincides with the expected release of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, indicating a packed third quarter for Samsung fans.
Overall, Samsung seems to be focusing on delivering premium devices across its tablet and wearables lineup, catering to users who seek top-of-the-line features and performance. As we wait for more details to emerge, anticipation is building for what Samsung has in store for the latter half of the year.
