Samsung One UI 8 Release Date Announced
Samsung has recently announced the expansion of its One UI 8 beta programme to include older Galaxy devices, along with revealing the full release date of One UI 9. The One UI 8 beta programme was initially launched on the Galaxy S25 range in May, and further updates were rolled out to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Watch 7 lines a month ago.
Now, Samsung is set to bring these One UI 8 beta updates to older devices starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 next week. The rollout will begin in South Korea, the US, the UK, and India.
In addition to this, Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 8 beta programme will extend to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and Galaxy A54 in September. Users of these Samsung Galaxy devices can sign up for the beta programme through the Samsung Members app.
The official release of One UI 8 is scheduled for September, following the beta programme, and will start with the Galaxy S25 series before expanding to other devices. One UI 8 made its debut on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE last month, featuring a similar design to One UI 7 but with enhanced AI features for a more intuitive user experience.
The new UI aims to provide smarter and more context-sensitive features, incorporating feedback from the beta programme to ensure a seamless and optimized user experience. Samsung users can look forward to the updated One UI 8 on their devices in the coming months.
