Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ texts with Cassie released as disgraced mogul’s sex-trafficking trial heads into second week

Scores of Text Messages Revealed in Diddy and Cassie Venture’s Volatile Relationship
A trove of text messages between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Venture has been unveiled, shedding light on their tumultuous 11-year relationship as the music mogul faces federal sex-trafficking charges in Manhattan.
The newly released messages, totaling 162 pages in legal documents, were made public after Combs’ legal team attempted to portray Venture as a willing participant in his alleged depraved activities.
Among the sexually explicit messages, there are instances where Venture accuses Combs of treating her as a “sidepiece,” while he tells her to contact him when she gets herself together.
During the trial, jurors were shown a 2017 message where Venture expressed excitement about an upcoming encounter, referring to it as a “freak-off.” She also mentioned forgetting an iPad, which she claimed was used to record their sexual activities.
Combs once instructed Venture to “have fun, impress me” as she headed to a sex shop to procure supplies for their encounters.
Text messages exchanged on May 26, 2017, towards the end of their relationship, discussed Venture’s trip to the Pleasure Chest, a sex shop. She testified that she would purchase various sexual supplies such as lubricants and outfits during these visits.
This revelation follows Venture’s detailed testimony of alleged rape, coerced sex, beatings, and other abuses she endured during their on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018.
Combs, now 55, stands accused of trafficking women for sex during these “freak-offs” and other serious crimes. He has pleaded not guilty and faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
