Sen. John Fetterman’s office reported the Pennsylvania Democrat had “sustained a fall” near his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, during an early Thursday morning walk.
Upon evaluation at a hospital in Pittsburgh, it was revealed that he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up, causing Senator Fetterman to feel light-headed, fall to the ground, and sustain minor injuries to his face.
Fortunately, Senator Fetterman is doing well and is currently under routine observation at the hospital. He has chosen to remain in the hospital so that doctors can adjust his medication regimen for optimal treatment.
