Sergei Bobrovsky and Brad Marchand lead Panthers to 4-0 win over Stars

The Florida Panthers dominated the Dallas Stars with a 4-0 victory on Saturday night, thanks in large part to goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky’s stellar performance. Bobrovsky recorded his third shutout of the season, making 15 saves and improving his record to an impressive 21-2-2 against Dallas.

Brad Marchand led the offensive charge for the Panthers, scoring two goals and adding an assist in the win. Anton Lundell and Sam Bennett also found the back of the net, while Sam Reinhart chipped in with two assists.

Marchand’s power-play goal at the end of the second period gave Florida a commanding 3-0 lead, and he later added an empty-netter to seal the victory. The Panthers’ power-play goal ended the Stars’ streak of 35 consecutive penalty kills, highlighting the team’s offensive prowess.

Dallas, who entered the game with the league’s top power play, struggled to generate offense and were held to a season-low number of shots. Goaltender Jake Oettinger, who had been leading NHL goaltenders in wins, made 18 saves but suffered his second consecutive loss.

The Stars’ four-game home winning streak was snapped by the Panthers, who have now won five straight games against Dallas. Lundell’s early goal in the second period set the tone for Florida, while Bennett’s goal was confirmed after a video review.

Looking ahead, the Panthers will face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday to wrap up their four-game road trip. Meanwhile, the Stars will host the Los Angeles Kings in their next game.

Overall, the Panthers’ dominant performance against the Stars showcased their offensive firepower and solid goaltending, while Dallas will look to bounce back from the shutout loss in their upcoming games.
