Seth Meyers poked fun at Donald Trump’s reaction to MAGA backlash regarding his Justice Department’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files during his show on Monday. Meyers also highlighted a peculiar detail in Trump’s statement.
During his segment on “Late Night,” Meyers focused on Trump’s post on Truth Social, where the former president criticized his own supporters for their disapproval.
In the message, Trump began by questioning, “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’”
“What’s the bigger scandal here?” Meyers pondered. “The concealment of the Epstein files or the fact that Trump has been referring to his supporters as ‘boys’ and ‘gals’ in his mind all this time?”
“Why are you so strange?!” Meyers quipped, pointing out that it is Trump’s own allies who have been fixated on the deceased financier and convicted sex offender.
