Sicko busted a third time for allegedly pretending to be disabled to get diaper changed
A Louisiana man, Rutledge Deas IV, found himself in hot water once again after being arrested on human trafficking charges. The 35-year-old sicko allegedly posed as a disabled person online to lure a nanny into his home under false pretenses.
Using an online nanny service, Deas requested assistance caring for someone with special needs, leading the unsuspecting victim to a Lafayette home. However, upon arrival, the victim discovered that Deas was not disabled and was instead pretending to require infant-like care, including diaper changes.
This isn’t the first time Deas has been caught pulling this disturbing stunt. In both 2019 and 2021, he was arrested for similar offenses. In 2020, he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual battery and human trafficking after posting fake ads online seeking home health care for his supposed disabled brother. Deas posed as his brother and managed to convince caregivers to change his adult diaper.
In 2021, he was once again arrested for pretending to be a young man with special needs undergoing “alternative therapy” and offering payment to babysitters to change his diapers. He even tried to persuade his victims to recruit others to care for him.
After pleading guilty to human trafficking in 2021, Deas was sentenced to 10 years in prison with nine years suspended. Upon release, he was placed on five years of probation. However, his latest arrest has landed him in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Louisiana Special Victims Unit at 504-310-7012. Deas’ disturbing actions serve as a chilling reminder of the dangers posed by individuals who exploit others for their own twisted gratification.
