Over Ear Cropping Controversy

Simone Biles‘s dog breeder is under fire for cropping the ears and docking the tail of her new Doberman Pinscher, sparking outrage from fans and animal rights activists.
Regal Empire Dobermans, the breeder in question, has faced backlash and even death threats over the controversial procedures performed on the puppy purchased by Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens.
William Regal, the owner of Regal Empire Dobermans, revealed that he has received threatening messages and attempts to shut down his business due to the controversial practices.
Defending the procedures, Regal stated that ear cropping and tail docking are common practices done by licensed veterinarians in the U.S., citing medical reasons for the adjustments.
Regal explained that these procedures are often done to prevent health issues in Dobermans, such as tail injuries and ear infections, especially in situations where the dog may be at risk of attacks.
Despite the controversy, Regal emphasized that he respects differing opinions but believes that the backlash towards him, Biles, and Owens has crossed a line.
He clarified that Biles simply wanted a loyal companion for protection, and both parties involved have not violated any laws in their decision.
“There’s no wrongdoing here,” Regal affirmed. “We stand by our practices and prioritize the well-being of our animals.”
