Judge Orders Accusers in Sexual Battery Case to Hand Over Cell Phones
Published
Smokey Robinson has scored a victory in his legal battle against his sexual assault accusers as a judge has granted his request for the anonymous accusers to surrender their cell phones.
Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Smokey expressed concerns that his Jane Doe accusers were potentially deleting crucial data from their phones. He alleged that despite serving them with discovery requests for cell phone records, they had been avoiding compliance.

Smokey’s request for the accusers to relinquish their phones was approved by the judge, with a deadline of 10 days for the handover.
The legal battle stems from allegations of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and gender violence made by four Jane Does who claim to have been former housekeepers for Smokey Robinson and his wife, Frances Gladney Robinson.
