Sony TV’s Keith Le Goy Joins Variety’s C-Suite Conversations at Mipcom

Sony Pictures Television chairman Keith Le Goy is set to participate in Variety’s C-Suite Conversations block at Mipcom in Cannes. The event, which will take place on October 13 at the Palais des Festivals, will feature a one-on-one interview with Le Goy conducted by Cynthia Littleton, Variety’s co-Editor in Chief.

In addition to Le Goy, Mediawan Pictures CEO Elisabeth d’Arvieu will also be part of the lineup for C-Suite Conversations. The event will lead into the presentation of the annual Variety Vanguard Award, which will be given to Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment, for his significant contributions to the global content business.

Lucy Smith, director of Mipcom Cannes, praised Le Goy’s expertise and insights in the international dealmaking arena. She highlighted SPT’s unique approach to investing in and producing shows independently, giving Le Goy a distinct perspective on the industry’s current landscape and future opportunities.

Le Goy took over as head of Sony’s TV operations earlier this year during a CEO transition at Sony Pictures Entertainment. With over two decades of experience at Sony, Le Goy has risen through the ranks with a focus on distribution and marketing, particularly in the international market. Prior to his time at Sony, he worked for Walt Disney Co. in Europe.

The keynote interview with Le Goy will precede an exclusive screening of “The Miniature Wife,” a highly anticipated relationship dramedy from Sony Pictures TV set to debut on Peacock next year. The screening, which will feature stars Matthew Macfadyen, O-T Fagbenle, and Sian Clifford, will take place on October 13 at 6 p.m. local time in the Palais’ Grand Auditorium and is open to all Mipcom attendees.

Overall, Le Goy’s participation in C-Suite Conversations and the upcoming screening of “The Miniature Wife” at Mipcom are sure to be highlights of the event, offering valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the global TV and film industry.
