‘South Park’ Makes A Dangerous Punchline Out Of Pete Hegseth
Warning: Spoilers and NSFW content ahead!
“South Park” kicked off Thanksgiving early by taking a hilarious jab at Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The show parodied Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone” to roast Hegseth in an epic musical number.
In the episode, Hegseth demands the release of tech billionaire Peter Thiel from jail, only to be defeated and humiliated. He then goes on a rampage against the “woke liberal town” that defies the government in a ridiculous video for the “Department of War.”
Despite Trump’s advice against creating social media content in South Park, Hegseth uses military resources to combat what he perceives as an “Antifa uprising” during the town’s annual Turkey Trot, now sponsored by Saudi Arabia.
As Hegseth and the military tear-gas the runners, he descends onto the streets from a helicopter to the tune of the “Danger Zone” parody.
The song hilariously calls out Hegseth as a “fucking douche” while showing him manhandling runners and taking selfies with a selfie stick.
The parody song continues as Hegseth rounds up more runners, with lyrics poking fun at his tough-guy persona and social media antics.
