‘South Park’ Sets White House Demolition Episode for Halloween

The popular animated series “South Park” is set to release a special Halloween episode titled “The Woman in the Hat” as part of its newly inaugurated Season 28. In a departure from its usual release pattern, the episode will air on Friday evening and will address the news of President Trump’s demolition of the east wing of the White House to make way for a new ballroom.

According to Comedy Central’s logline, the episode will revolve around the White House dealing with a disruptive spirit from the east wing, while Stan expresses concerns that South Park has become too political. Preview images released for the episode show Trump and Satan overseeing the demolition of the White House, as well as members of Trump’s administration seemingly haunted by a spectral presence.

The episode is scheduled to premiere on Comedy Central on Friday at 10 pm, replacing the show’s usual time slot on Wednesdays. While a new episode was initially planned for Wednesday, Oct. 29, the network made a last-minute adjustment, with social media posts promoting the original airdate being deleted. Subsequent episodes of Season 28 are still scheduled to air on Wednesdays, with dates set for Nov. 12, Nov. 26, and Dec. 10.

The latest season of “South Park” unexpectedly kicked off on Oct. 15, following the abrupt end of Season 27 after just five episodes and a brief delay for a sixth installment. While Season 27 was supposed to consist of 10 episodes, the series transitioned to Season 28 without explanation. However, the new season continues to focus on satirizing the Trump administration’s policies, particularly through the ongoing romance between Trump and Satan.

Fans of the show can look forward to more episodes of “South Park” Season 28 airing on Wednesdays, with the series maintaining its signature blend of humor and social commentary. Stay tuned for more outrageous adventures from the residents of South Park as they navigate the ever-changing landscape of politics and pop culture.
