‘South Park’ Shares Kristi Noem End Credits Scene
South Park Reshares Exclusive Post-Credits Scene on Paramount+
If you missed it, “South Park” recently shared the Paramount+ exclusive post-credits scene for the second episode of Season 27. The scene, posted on the official “South Park” X account, shows United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem walking into a pet store and opening fire on the puppies inside. Despite one dog managing to escape, Noem quickly catches up to it and brutally guns it down.
It remains unclear why the scene was only included on Paramount+ and not in the Comedy Central premiere. Given that “South Park” is produced on a week-to-week basis to stay current, it’s possible that the animators didn’t have time to include it in the linear premiere episode and decided to attach it to the streaming release.
Noem played a significant role in the August 6 episode, where she was portrayed as the puppy-killing leader of ICE. In this installment, she raids a local production of “Dora the Explorer Live!” and sports a face that constantly melts off due to botched plastic surgery.
Following the episode’s premiere, Noem responded during an appearance on Glenn Beck’s radio show, criticizing her portrayal on “South Park” as “lazy” and “petty.” She maintained that she did not watch the episode as she was busy with budget numbers.
The ongoing joke about Noem’s dog-killing habit originated from a book excerpt where she confessed to shooting her dog, Cricket, due to its aggressive behavior.
“South Park” Season 27 has been notably politically charged, drawing reactions beyond Noem. The first episode made headlines for depicting Donald Trump soliciting sex from Satan. The White House responded by dismissing the show as irrelevant and desperate for attention with uninspired ideas.
The controversial and politically charged nature of the latest season of “South Park” continues to spark discussions and reactions from viewers and public figures alike. Stay tuned for more updates and insights as the series unfolds.
