‘South Park’ Trolls Trump With Return of Beloved Character

Exciting news for “South Park” fans! A new clip has been released teasing Wednesday night’s episode, which will feature the return of the beloved character Towelie. The show seems to be continuing its tradition of trolling President Donald Trump, as the clip shows Towelie arriving in Washington, D.C. to find the city under military control.

As Towelie watches a tank roll past the White House, he remarks, “This seems like the perfect place for a towel,” in a nod to the real-life situation where Trump has sent the National Guard into the city.

“South Park” has not shied away from taking jabs at Trump and even mocked Paramount for settling a lawsuit with him. Trump claimed the settlement included PSAs, and “South Park” humorously gave him one at the end of an episode, featuring a very realistic depiction of Trump stripping in the desert.

The next episode of “South Park” will air on Comedy Central on Wednesday night and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
