Thousands of Spotify users are currently experiencing difficulties accessing the popular music streaming service. According to outage tracking site Downdetector, many customers have reported that their playlists have disappeared.

The problems with Spotify have escalated, with approximately 35,000 individuals informing Downdetector about their issues with accessing music on the platform. This spike in reports occurred on Monday morning, causing frustration among users.

At 9:45 a.m. EST, Spotify acknowledged the ongoing issues with the streaming service through a social media post. The company stated, “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!” as they began investigating the root cause of the disruption.

Despite the increasing number of complaints and inquiries from users, Spotify has not provided any official comments to CBS News regarding the situation.
