Starbucks Partners with ‘The Shop’ for Season 8
Fulwell Entertainment’s popular talk show “The Shop” is making its return for an eighth season on July 31, and this time with a new presenting sponsor – Starbucks. Originally airing on HBO and hosted by LeBron James, the show is known for its candid conversations reminiscent of those had in local barbershops. The show has garnered critical acclaim, winning both an Emmy and an NAACP award.
In its latest season, “The Shop” will be expanding its setting to include Starbucks coffee shops, thanks to the new sponsorship. Viewers can expect to see portions of each episode filmed in a specially-designed Starbucks lounge, showcasing the popular coffee chain’s seasonal drinks and menu items.
The season premiere of Season 8 will feature a diverse lineup of guests, including actor Utkarsh Ambudkar, content creator Jordan Howlett, NFL linebacker Fred Warner, and Notre Dame women’s basketball star Hannah Hidalgo. The topics of conversation will range from success and sports to sobriety and life lessons, all while enjoying Starbucks beverages.
Fans can catch new episodes of “The Shop” bi-weekly on the show’s YouTube channel, with content and clips also being shared on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Executive producers LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Paul Rivera, and Randy Mims are back for this season, with Gynai Kristol serving as producer and Jade Martin directing and co-executive producing the season opener. Rivera and Mims are credited as the creators of the show.
With its unique blend of celebrity guests, engaging conversations, and now the added element of Starbucks sponsorship, “The Shop” promises to continue delivering insightful and entertaining content for its viewers. Stay tuned for another exciting season filled with memorable moments and thought-provoking discussions.
