Stefon Diggs accuser speaks out over false narratives
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing allegations of assault and strangulation from his personal chef, Mila Adams. Adams recently spoke out, denying any false accusations and stating that she is a survivor of domestic violence who takes such matters seriously. She also clarified that she never sought money or engaged in settlement discussions with Diggs.
Diggs, who pleaded not guilty to the charges, has changed lawyers and released a statement through his attorney, Mitchell Schuster, asserting his innocence. Schuster expressed confidence that Diggs will be exonerated once all the facts and evidence are reviewed.
The incident in question occurred in December when Adams confronted Diggs at his home about missed payments for her services. She accused him of not compensating her, leading to a heated confrontation where Diggs allegedly slapped her across the face and attempted to choke her.
The legal process is ongoing, with Diggs scheduled for a pretrial hearing on April 1. These charges are just the latest in a series of legal troubles for the football player. In November, he faced allegations of sexual battery from an influencer, and shortly before the Super Bowl, he was sued for defamation in Florida. Additionally, rumors suggest that Diggs may be experiencing relationship issues with his girlfriend, Cardi B.
As the case unfolds, both Diggs and Adams are standing by their respective statements, and the legal system will ultimately determine the outcome of these serious allegations.
