‘Stranger Things’ 5 Runtimes for First Four Episodes Revealed

The much-anticipated Season 5 of “Stranger Things” is set to wow fans with a mix of suspense, nostalgia, and thrilling adventures. Recently, co-creator Ross Duffer took to Instagram to reveal the runtimes of the first four episodes, putting an end to the rumors that every episode would be at least 90 minutes long.

According to Duffer’s post, the Season 5 premiere titled “The Crawl” will run for one hour and 8 minutes, followed by Episode 2 at 54 minutes, Episode 3 “The Turnbow Trap” at one hour and 6 minutes, and Episode 4 “Sorcerer” at one hour and 23 minutes. This announcement contradicts viral social media posts and a Puck News report claiming longer episode lengths.

Fans of the show will recall that Season 4 saw a significant expansion in episode runtimes, with most episodes exceeding 70 minutes and the final three episodes being feature-length, culminating in a two-hour and 22-minute finale. This trend continues in Season 5, promising viewers extended storytelling and more immersive experiences.

Netflix has decided to release Season 5 in three separate parts. The first four episodes will debut on November 26, just in time for Thanksgiving, with “Sorcerer” marking the mid-season finale. The next three episodes will premiere on Christmas, leading up to the final episode “The Rightside Up” on New Year’s Eve. The season is helmed by executive producer Shawn Levy and acclaimed filmmaker Frank Darabont, with the original cast including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, and more set to return for the grand finale.

As fans eagerly await the return to the mysterious town of Hawkins, the Duffer Brothers continue to deliver a mix of thrills, heartwarming moments, and unexpected twists that have made “Stranger Things” a global phenomenon. Stay tuned for Season 5, coming soon to Netflix.
