Two Teens Arrested for Alleged Stabbing on Bronx Subway
Two young teens found themselves in police custody after being accused of assaulting a man by stabbing him on a Bronx subway in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to authorities.
The victim, a 19-year-old male, was attacked with a knife in the hip following an altercation with three individuals on a northbound 6 train as it arrived at the St. Lawrence subway station in Soundview around 3:30 a.m., police reports revealed.
The exact cause of the argument between the victim and the group remains uncertain. The injured individual was promptly transported to Jacobi Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were both arrested and charged with second-degree assault later that same Saturday. Another 18-year-old male who was accompanying the younger duo during the incident is currently in police custody but has not yet been formally charged.
Authorities are still working to determine which of the suspects brandished the weapon during the attack.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing as per the New York City Police Department.
