Teacher accused of raping boy, 14, in car in Walmart parking lot

A shocking incident has come to light where a middle school teacher from Texas is accused of raping a 14-year-old boy in her SUV while two other students were present in the vehicle. Jaden Renee Charles, aged 26, allegedly committed the heinous act in a Walmart parking lot in Alice, Texas. The court documents obtained by KRIS 6 NEWS reveal the disturbing details of the incident.

Reportedly, Charles drove the three students, including a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, to the Walmart parking lot. She then proceeded to tie a blanket around the front seat headrests and sexually assaulted the youngest student while the other two teenagers were seated in the back of the vehicle. What makes the situation even more appalling is Charles’ claim that she was pregnant with the 14-year-old boy’s baby at the time of the alleged rape, which took place in the early hours of February 29, 2024.

According to the court documents, two of the teens in the car informed investigators that Charles had engaged in sexual activities with other students at Agua Dulce Independent School District, where she was employed as a science teacher at Agua Dulce Secondary School.

Charles was arrested in March 2024 and recently appeared in court in Corpus Christi, Texas, for a status hearing. She faces two counts of sexual assault of a child in two counties, Jim Wells and Nueces. However, the progress of her case was hindered as her attorney, Robert J. Gonzalez, mentioned that he had only received evidence in the Nueces County case. The connection between the Nueces County cases and the pending Jim Wells County cases is yet to be determined.

As of now, Charles has not been indicted by Jim Wells County, and Judge Jack Pulcher has scheduled her next hearing for early April. This disturbing case has raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of students in educational institutions and the responsibility of teachers in positions of authority.
