Texas cop delivers Uber Eats order after arresting delivery driver
Police Officer Goes Above and Beyond to Deliver Uber Eats Order After Driver’s Arrest
Protect and serve.
A heartwarming incident unfolded in Texas when a police officer stepped in to deliver an Uber Eats order after the driver was arrested for using fake plates. Harris County Constable deputies had pulled over the driver for displaying a fictitious license plate on his vehicle. As the officers arrested the driver, they realized he was in the middle of a food delivery order.
Instead of leaving the customer without their meal, Deputy Chapa took it upon himself to complete the delivery. Constable Mark Herman praised the deputies for their dedication to both enforcing the law and serving the community.

The suspect, Ronaldo Carrillo, was arrested and charged with tampering with a Government Record. Despite the arrest, the customer received their order thanks to the thoughtful actions of the deputies.
This act of kindness is not an isolated incident. In the past, police officers have gone out of their way to ensure that hungry citizens receive their food orders even after the original delivery drivers were arrested. This includes instances in Arizona and Florida where officers personally delivered food orders to customers after driver arrests.
It’s heartwarming to see law enforcement officers going above and beyond their call of duty to serve their communities in unexpected ways. These gestures remind us that compassion and service are at the core of their work.
