While this should ideally be a blessing, Russo noted that it has become a curse as she is not consistently booked to reflect her strong connection with the fans.
Green’s popularity soared upon her return to WWE, with her becoming the inaugural Women’s United States Champion last year. However, her title reign was short-lived at 132 days, raising questions about the creative direction of her character within the company.
