The Hive Studio Opens Greek Location With Animasyros
The Hive Studio, a well-known animation studio recognized for co-producing the Oscar-nominated short film “Letter to a Pig” by Tal Kantor, has recently announced the launch of a new European branch in Greece. The Hive Greece, established in partnership with Animasyros Productions based in Athens, aims to bring together talent from the Southern Mediterranean region and foster cross-European animation collaborations.
This collaboration signifies a strategic effort to strengthen the international presence of the Greek animation industry. Animasyros Productions, renowned for organizing the Animasyros International Animation Festival, shares The Hive’s vision of promoting creative synergy and innovative storytelling within the industry.
The Hive Studio and Animasyros have previously collaborated on various projects, including the award-winning short film “P,” directed by Stelios Koupetoris and co-produced with the Greek Film Center. The film received the ASIFA-Hellas Award for Best Screenplay and was featured in numerous international film festivals.
