‘The Traitors’ Heads to Korea With Actor Cha Seung-won as Host
All3Media International, in collaboration with Korean production companies Luyworks Media and Something Special, is set to launch a local adaptation of the popular reality competition format “The Traitors” in South Korea. Renowned actor Cha Seung-won has been chosen to host the Korean version, adding his star power to the project.
The Dutch-originated format has gained immense popularity since its debut in 2021 on RTL 4 in the Netherlands. It has been commissioned in over 30 territories across six continents, with more than 50 territories broadcasting episodes through tape sales.
Cha Seung-won, known for his work in dramas, films, and variety shows, brings a wealth of experience to the project. His impressive credits include dramas like “The Greatest Love” and films such as “Believer” and “Night in Paradise.” His involvement in variety series like “Infinite Challenge” and “Three Meals a Day” showcases his versatility as a host.
