Tim Robinson’s HBO Show ‘The Chair Company’ Gets Release Date, Images
Tim Robinson, known for his work on “I Think You Should Leave,” is set to premiere a new comedy series titled “The Chair Company” on HBO and HBO Max on Oct. 12. Co-created with Zach Kanin, the show follows a man who delves into a conspiracy after facing an embarrassing incident at work.
The eight-episode series will release episodes weekly, with the season finale airing on Nov. 30. Robinson stars as William Ronald Trosper, alongside Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Will Price as Seth Trosper, and Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini. Lou Diamond Phillips also makes appearances as Jeff Levjman.
Executive produced by Robinson, Kanin, Adam McKay, Todd Schulman, Andrew DeYoung, and Igor Srubshchik, “The Chair Company” promises to deliver a blend of humor and intrigue. DeYoung, who directed Robinson in the film “Friendship,” serves as the director alongside Aaron Schimberg.
Before “The Chair Company,” Robinson gained fame for his work on “I Think You Should Leave” and “Detroiters,” both of which showcased his comedic talent. He was also a writer and cast member on “Saturday Night Live” and has appeared in projects like “Documentary Now!” and “An American Pickle.”
