Tom Lee’s Bitmine Immersion Reaches $14,000,000,000 In Total Assets After Rapid Ethereum Accumulation

Bitmine Immersion Technologies, founded by Tom Lee, has quietly become one of the largest holders of digital assets in the crypto world. With a total Ethereum asset base of $14.0 billion, Bitmine has been rapidly accumulating ETH tokens, amassing approximately 4.168 million ETH as of January 11th. This accounts for roughly 3.45% of the entire ETH supply, making Bitmine the largest Ethereum digital asset treasury (DAT) globally.

In addition to their substantial Ethereum holdings, Bitmine also has a small Bitcoin position, investments in equity “moonshots,” and nearly $1 billion in cash reserves. The company has been strategically focused on accumulating Ethereum for over a year, steadily expanding their ETH treasury throughout 2025. Despite market fluctuations, Bitmine has used these opportunities to increase their ETH holdings, moving closer to their target of owning 5% of the total ETH supply, which they refer to as the “Alchemy of 5%.”

Tom Lee, the founder of Bitmine, remains optimistic about the future of crypto in 2026, citing stablecoin adoption and tokenization as driving forces that will solidify blockchain as the settlement layer of Wall Street, particularly favoring Ethereum. He believes that the recent market correction post-October 10th, 2025, is akin to a “mini crypto winter,” with prices expected to recover in 2026 and see stronger gains in 2027-2028.

Bitmine continues to actively acquire ETH, recently adding 24,266 ETH to their portfolio while also increasing their cash position by $73 million. The company issues equity selectively and only at a premium to their net asset value (mNAV). With the upcoming launch of MAVAN’s commercial operations, Bitmine aims to become the largest staking provider in the entire crypto ecosystem.
