Transaction Detected In Bitcoin Account Tied To Nancy Guthrie Ransom Note: Reports

TMZ, a popular show business website, recently disclosed that they had detected some activity in the account linked to the ransom note they received earlier. However, they chose not to disclose the exact amount involved in the transaction.

According to a source who wished to remain anonymous, People later revealed that the sum of money involved was only “hundreds of dollars.” KGUN, a local Tucson station that also received the ransom note, confirmed that the transaction amounted to “less than $300.”

This amount pales in comparison to the $6 million demanded by the alleged kidnapper. Despite missing the initial deadlines, “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings remain hopeful and willing to negotiate with the kidnapper to secure their mother’s safe return.

Furthermore, authorities briefly detained and released a man in connection with the case. They also conducted a search of a property in Rio Rico, Arizona, located approximately 60 miles from Nancy Guthrie’s residence in Tucson.
