Trump Admits ‘We’re Just Going To Kill People’ Smuggling Drugs Into America

President Trump defended his administration’s deadly strikes on alleged drug-trafficking vessels, stating bluntly, “I think we’re just going to kill people.”

In recent days, Trump has reaffirmed his commitment to targeting boats suspected of smuggling narcotics into the U.S. He has even hinted at the possibility of expanding these strikes to include land targets. So far, nine attacks have been carried out in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in at least 37 casualties. Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) criticized the attacks, calling them “summary executions.”

During a press briefing on Thursday, Trump announced that the White House would soon brief Congress on the operations. He expressed confidence that most lawmakers would support the actions, except for what he referred to as the “radical left lunatics.”

When asked about the need for a formal declaration of war from Congress, Trump dismissed the idea, stating, “Well, I don’t think we’re going to necessarily ask for a declaration of war. I think we’re just going to kill people who are bringing drugs into our country. Okay? We’re going to kill them, you know, they’re going to be, like, dead. Okay.”

These comments sparked outrage among critics:
