Trump announces he’ll attend Ryder Cup in New York — as he weighs in on US lineup

President Trump voiced his support for Keegan Bradley to play on the US Ryder Cup Team as captain, affirming his belief that Bradley is an “amazing guy.” Trump made the announcement on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating, “Keegan Bradley should DEFINITELY be on the American Ryder Cup Team – As Captain!!! He is an AMAZING guy.”

In addition to expressing his endorsement of Bradley, Trump also revealed his plans to attend the prestigious golf tournament on Long Island, New York next month. He enthusiastically declared, “It will be a great Ryder Cup. At the invite of the PGA Tour, I will be there on Tournament Friday!!! President DJT.”

The highly anticipated Ryder Cup is scheduled to take place from September 26-28 in Farmingdale. As the excitement builds for the event, all eyes are on Bradley, who currently serves as the captain of the 2025 US Ryder Cup team. While Bradley has not yet confirmed whether he will be participating as a player in addition to his role as captain, speculation is rife among fans and experts alike.

Notably, if Bradley does decide to compete as a player, he will join a select group of elite golfers who have simultaneously served as both player and captain in the Ryder Cup. The last US golfer to achieve this feat was the legendary Arnold Palmer back in 1963.

As preparations for the Ryder Cup intensify, anticipation continues to grow among golf enthusiasts worldwide. With Trump’s endorsement of Bradley and his own plans to attend the tournament, the event promises to be a thrilling spectacle that showcases the best of golfing talent on an international stage.
