Trump Keeps Gifting 1 Thing To Top Officials Who Are ‘Afraid Not To Wear Them’: Report
It has been widely known for some time that Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have been wearing footwear bought by Trump.
According to a report by the Journal on Monday, several other prominent figures in Trump’s circle have also been spotted wearing Florsheim shoes, which cost around $145.
Among those who have received Trump’s shoe gifts are Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, White House deputy chief of staff James Blair, and speechwriter Ross Worthington, as reported by the Journal.
Outside of the White House, Fox News’ Sean Hannity and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) are also sporting Trump-approved shoes, the report added.
According to a female White House official quoted in the Journal, “All the boys have them.” Another source mentioned, “It’s hysterical because everybody’s afraid not to wear them.”
Reporter Katie Rogers recounted an incident where Vance showed the president the pair of shoes he was wearing by lifting his leg in the air.
Last year, Vance recalled Trump criticizing him and Rubio for their “shitty shoes” and making a crude joke about penis size.
