Trump mocks ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, says he’ll refuse their questions over treatment of JD Vance

President Donald Trump took aim at ABC News host George Stephanopoulos during a recent meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei. Trump sarcastically commented on the supposed non-hostile and friendly nature of questions from the news, referencing a previous interview where he claimed Stephanopoulos had to pay him $16 million. He also criticized a recent interview with Vice President JD Vance on ABC, calling the interviewer “nasty” and accusing him of cutting off Vance mid-sentence.

During the interview, Vance denied allegations that border czar Tom Homan accepted a bribe and accused Stephanopoulos of lacking credibility. The interview ended abruptly after Stephanopoulos pressed Vance on the allegations, leading Vance to question the focus on a “fake scandal” rather than more pressing issues like peace in the Middle East or threats to critical supply chains.

Trump later declared that he wouldn’t take questions from “ABC fake news,” showing his disdain for the network. ABC News has yet to respond to the criticism from Trump and Vance.

The tense exchange between Vance and Stephanopoulos highlights the ongoing tension between politicians and the media, with accusations of bias and lack of credibility on both sides. Despite the controversy, both Trump and Vance remain steadfast in their positions, refusing to back down from their criticisms of ABC News and its host.
