U.S. Crypto Education Group, American Innovation Project, Gets First Director
The American Innovation Project, a new player in the U.S. crypto advocacy landscape, is gearing up for its inaugural executive director, Allie Page. Page, who previously served as the chief operating officer at the Blockchain Association, is set to take the reins next month. Her appointment comes on the heels of the departure of Kristin Smith, former CEO of the Blockchain Association, who now heads the Solana Policy Institute (SPI) and serves as president of the board at AIP.
In a statement, Smith praised Page’s ability to bridge connections with stakeholders across the political spectrum and expressed confidence in her ability to drive progress on issues shaping U.S. innovation. The nonprofit AIP will differentiate itself by focusing on hosting educational events for policymakers rather than traditional lobbying efforts. This move comes in a landscape already crowded with established advocacy groups such as the Digital Chamber, Crypto Council for Innovation, and Coin Center.
Page emphasized AIP’s commitment to equipping American leaders with the knowledge needed to craft policies that foster innovation and position the U.S. as a leader in technology. The organization plans to host a summit in Jackson Hole, Wyoming next year to further its mission.
Prior to her foray into the crypto world, Page’s professional experience centered around agriculture, with roles at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Public Lands Council. Her diverse background and expertise make her a valuable addition to the AIP team.
By prioritizing education and collaboration, AIP aims to carve out a unique space in the competitive crypto advocacy arena. With Page at the helm, the organization is poised to make a meaningful impact on the future of U.S. innovation.
