The UFC made a successful debut on Paramount+ with UFC 324 drawing in a strong viewership on Saturday night. This marked the largest exclusive live event on Paramount+ so far, as reported by Adobe Analytics and Paramount channel partner data. Globally, the event was watched by 7.18 million households.
The headline fight of UFC 324 featured Paddy Pimblett facing off against Justin Gaethje for the interim UFC lightweight championship. Gaethje secured a unanimous decision victory, setting himself up for a future showdown with reigning UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria later in 2026.
In other notable matches on the card, “Suga” Sean O’Malley claimed victory over “Kung Fu Kid” Song Yadong through a unanimous decision, while Natalia Silva defeated Rose Namajunas in a similar fashion.
Last summer, the UFC entered into an exclusive partnership with Paramount for a staggering $7.7 billion. This deal allows fans in the U.S. and Latin America to enjoy major UFC events without the need for additional pay-per-view charges. Paramount gains access to all UFC numbered events, 30 UFC Fight Nights annually, Dana White’s Contender Series, and the reality show “The Ultimate Fighter” as part of the agreement.
The upcoming event, UFC 325: Volkanovski vs. Lopes II, is scheduled to take place in Sydney, Australia on Jan. 31. Fans can look forward to more thrilling matchups and exclusive content as the partnership between the UFC and Paramount continues to unfold.
