USA Women’s Hockey Stars Shade President Trump on ‘SNL’

The USA Women’s Hockey Stars made a memorable appearance on Saturday Night Live, where they took a playful jab at President Donald Trump, right in front of Jack and Quinn Hughes. The stars of the Team USA women’s hockey team, Hilary Knight and Megan Keller, joined Connor Storrie, the star of the hit series “Heated Rivalry” on HBO, during the opening monologue.

The Hughes brothers, Jack and Quinn, were the first to appear on stage, with Storrie cracking jokes about their show and the audience going wild. Keller and Knight then made their entrance, with Knight jokingly stating, “It was gonna be just us, but we thought we would invite the guys too.” Keller added, “Yeah, we thought we give them a little moment to shine.”

The playful banter continued as Quinn mentioned that the men’s gold medal was their first in 46 years, to which Knight responded by highlighting that the women didn’t have a drought anywhere near that long. She humorously added, “And the last time we did that was two whole Olympics ago.”

The appearance on SNL won’t be the last for the Hughes brothers and Knight, as they are set to bring their gold medals onto “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. This will give the gold medalists even more screen time and a chance to showcase their achievements to a wider audience.

The light-hearted and entertaining segment on SNL showcased the camaraderie and humor of the USA Women’s Hockey Stars, as they continue to bask in the glory of their success on and off the ice. Stay tuned for more exciting appearances from these talented athletes as they share their journey to victory with the world.
