Blessed are the Jet-Setters: Charter Company Offers Divine Travel Experience to Rome
A charter company is extending an invitation to travelers to experience a journey in divine style with a direct flight from Chicago, the hometown of Pope Leo XIV, to the iconic capital of Italy. This special trip celebrates Pope Leo XIV’s historic achievement as the first American pontiff.
Velocity Jets has unveiled a unique ad, showcasing the opportunity to “Fly Like a Cardinal” and “Land Like a Legend” on a luxurious trip to Rome. The ad features an AI image of a cardinal and two nuns dancing aboard a private jet, with a DJ spinning tracks in the background, creating a whimsical and captivating visual.

“The white smoke has risen, and the Vatican has spoken: Pope Leo XIV, formerly Cardinal Robert Prevost of Chicago, has officially taken the helm,” the ad humorously proclaims. Whether travelers are seeking spiritual inspiration, historical intrigue, or simply craving Roman cuisine and culture, Velocity Jets offers a direct line to Vatican City.

Travelers can anticipate flying on a Gulfstream 550, a luxurious jet with a seating capacity for eight passengers and a cruising speed of up to 509 mph, for the lavish journey from Chicago to Rome.

The direct flight package includes “Heavenly catering & Miraculous Car Service,” promising a truly exceptional and indulgent travel experience.
“Do you want guaranteed access to heaven-sent jets like this one — anytime, anywhere?” the campaign playfully entices. “This week, the Cardinals chose their leader. You just need to choose your aircraft.”
While the exact pricing for the flights is not publicly disclosed, interested flyers can inquire with the company. According to a 2022 blog post on the Velocity Jets website, prices typically range between $24,894 and $41,654 per flight.
