Video shows male stand-up comic punch woman in the face outside Hollywood comedy club
Comedian Corey Holcomb has found himself in hot water after a newly surfaced video allegedly captured him punching a female comic outside a Hollywood club. The incident took place outside the Hollywood Improv, where a woman identified as Cristina Patyne was seen shouting at Holcomb in the video.
In the footage, several bystanders rushed at Holcomb and tackled him to the ground following the altercation. Patyne later filed a battery report with the Los Angeles Police Department, although authorities did not arrest Holcomb in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the confrontation between Holcomb and Patyne was the result of a months-long dispute between the two comedians. The tension between them dates back to at least July 2024, when Holcomb allegedly made threatening comments about Patyne, including expressing his intention to “super sock” her.
Despite the incident, neither Holcomb nor his representatives have issued a statement regarding the altercation. Additionally, the Hollywood Improv has remained silent on the matter.
As of now, the LAPD has not responded to requests for comment on the incident. It is unclear how the situation will unfold and whether any legal actions will be taken in response to the altercation.
