Wacky wigmaker Miriam Yarimi gets sweetheart plea from judge for killing mom, 2 young kids in NYC horror crash
A tragic incident unfolded in Brooklyn when Miriam Yarimi, a wigmaker, recklessly drove her luxury Audi A4 down Ocean Parkway in March. The speeding car crashed into an Uber, causing it to hit Natasha Saada and her three children. The impact resulted in the death of Saada’s daughters, Diana and Deborah, aged 7 and 5 respectively, while her 4-year-old son Philip was severely injured.
Despite prosecutors seeking a 15-year maximum sentence for Yarimi, she received a plea deal from Judge Danny Chen for a 3-to-9-year sentence, much to the objections of the prosecution. The Brooklyn prosecutors plan to submit a letter before her sentencing to argue for a longer incarceration term, citing the severity of the crime.
The tragic incident not only affected the victims’ family but also deeply impacted the close-knit Jewish community in south Brooklyn. Yarimi, who had a history of numerous traffic violations and a suspended license, exhibited erratic behavior after the crash, making disturbing remarks to first responders.
In addition to her troubled driving record, Yarimi’s social media presence revealed a flashy lifestyle intertwined with bizarre and paranoid conspiracy theories. Her erratic behavior was evident to those close to her, despite her outward display of luxury and glamour on social media.
Furthermore, Yarimi had previously won a $2 million lawsuit against the NYPD in 2023, alleging coercion into a sexual encounter with a uniformed police officer when she was 14 years old. Her questionable past and erratic behavior have raised concerns about her mental state and the factors leading to the fatal crash on Ocean Parkway.
The tragic loss of Natasha Saada’s daughters, coupled with Yarimi’s reckless driving history and disturbing behavior, has left a lasting impact on the Brooklyn community. The sentencing of Yarimi will hopefully serve as a reminder of the consequences of reckless driving and the need for accountability in such devastating incidents.
