Wanted Fugitive Killed By Dallas Police Worked Security For U.S. Lawmaker, Report Says

According to CBS News Texas, a wanted fugitive who was fatally shot by Dallas police earlier this week was reportedly part of the security team for U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett. The man, identified as Mike King, used aliases while running a business that provided off-duty job placements for officers. His real name has not been disclosed by authorities.

Dallas police SWAT officers killed the fugitive on Wednesday night, following reports that he was wanted for impersonating a law enforcement officer. He allegedly claimed to be a law enforcement officer while operating Off Duty Police Services, an online platform connecting North Texas officers with off-duty work.

Additionally, he was reported to have driven a replica undercover police vehicle and used stolen license plates from cars outside a military recruiting office.
