Washington gang member sacrificed horse in bizarre ritual so murdered pal could ‘ride it into the Valhalla’
The leader of a white supremacist gang, Brandon Gerner, is facing trial for a double murder and first-degree animal cruelty after allegedly slaughtering a horse in a bizarre ritual. The ritual was said to be performed so that his friend and accomplice, Kody Olsen, could ride the stallion “into Valhalla,” the mythical paradise for warriors.
The double murder, believed to be a result of a drug deal gone wrong, occurred on November 16, 2023. Gerner is accused of conspiring with Olsen to kill Robert Riley, 57, and Ashley Williams, 34. Olsen was later killed in a shootout with sheriff’s deputies in Pierce County, Washington.
Following Olsen’s death, Gerner carried out the animal sacrifice as a tribute to the Norse god of death, Odin, and to provide Olsen with a steed for his journey to Valhalla. Lemon, the horse, was shot point-blank and found dead in front of a stable, much to the horror of the horse owner’s daughter, Delanie Greer-Breakall.
Karen Greer, Lemon’s owner, discovered the dead animal the next morning and was deeply disturbed by the senseless act. Gerner, known for founding a white supremacist group while serving time in prison for various offenses, was arrested and charged with both the murders and the animal sacrifice in February 2024.
The bodies of Riley and Williams were found discarded under trash, covered by a blue tarp and a blanket. Williams had been brutally stabbed over 20 times. Gerner, who had previously spent around 22 years in prison for crimes such as burglary, robbery, and assault, now faces serious charges related to these heinous acts.
The investigation into these crimes continues, shedding light on the dark and disturbing world of white supremacist gangs and their violent rituals. The victims, Riley and Williams, will not be forgotten as justice is sought for their untimely deaths. the perspective of a travel enthusiast who has just returned from a trip to a remote island in the Pacific Ocean.
As a travel enthusiast, I have always been drawn to remote and exotic destinations that offer a glimpse into a world untouched by modern civilization. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit a remote island in the Pacific Ocean that completely exceeded my expectations and left me in awe of its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
The journey to the island was not for the faint of heart, as it required a long boat ride through choppy waters and a treacherous hike through dense jungle before finally reaching the shores of this hidden gem. But as soon as I set foot on the island, I knew that the adventure was well worth the effort.
The island was a paradise of pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical vegetation that stretched as far as the eye could see. The air was filled with the sweet scent of exotic flowers and the sounds of birds chirping in the treetops, creating a sense of tranquility and serenity that I had never experienced before.
One of the highlights of my trip was exploring the island’s vibrant coral reefs, which were teeming with a kaleidoscope of colorful fish, sea turtles, and other marine life. Snorkeling through the crystal-clear waters, I felt like I was swimming in a living aquarium, surrounded by the beauty and wonder of the underwater world.
But the island’s natural beauty was just one part of its allure. I was also captivated by the warmth and hospitality of the local people, who welcomed me with open arms and shared their traditions and customs with me. From traditional dances and music performances to delicious feasts of fresh seafood and tropical fruits, I was immersed in the rich culture of the island and felt like I was part of a big, extended family.
As I reluctantly bid farewell to the island and boarded the boat back to the mainland, I knew that this trip had been a once-in-a-lifetime experience that would stay with me forever. The remote island in the Pacific Ocean had captured my heart and soul, and I couldn’t wait to share my adventures with others and inspire them to embark on their own journey of discovery and exploration.
