Welcome to Derry’ and ‘I Love L.A.’ Ratings
The latest episodes of two popular HBO series, “It: Welcome to Derry” and “I Love L.A.,” have achieved record-breaking viewership numbers.
“It: Welcome to Derry” Episode 7 garnered 5.8 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max in its first three days of release. This milestone marked the highest viewership for the series so far, bringing the average viewers per episode to 10.7 million and reaching a total of 18.3 million viewers across all episodes. The show ranks among the top three series debuts on HBO Max, following “The Last of Us” and “House of the Dragon.” The buzz around “It: Welcome to Derry” has been steadily increasing, with Episode 7 surpassing the series premiere by 300%.
On the other hand, Episode 6 of “I Love L.A.” attracted 1 million viewers in its first three days and has been maintaining an average of 1.8 million viewers per episode since its debut. The series has been identified as one of the fastest-growing comedy series on HBO Max.
“It: Welcome to Derry” was developed for television by Andy Muschietti, along with his sister Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. The show features an impressive lineup of executive producers, including the Muschiettis, Fuchs, Bill Skarsgård, and others. Fuchs and Kane serve as co-showrunners, with Muschietti directing multiple episodes.
“I Love L.A.” is created and led by Rachel Sennott, who also stars in the series. She is joined by executive producers Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria.
Both shows have been gaining traction and attracting a growing audience, solidifying their places as must-watch series on HBO and HBO Max.
