White House unveils cheeky Valentine’s Day cards featuring Maduro, Rubio and the shutdown sombrero

The White House recently took a playful approach to Valentine’s Day by releasing a series of irreverent cards on social media. These cards feature some of the most iconic images from President Trump’s second term, giving them a humorous twist for the romantic holiday.

One card features a photo of deposed dictator Nicolas Maduro being flown out of Venezuela, shackled and blindfolded, with the message “You captured my heart.” Another card showcases the infamous snapshot of Senator Chris Van Hollen sipping margaritas with an alleged MS-13 gang member in El Salvador, with the message “My love for you is as strong as Democrats love for illegal aliens.”

A card with Trump holding up an executive order reads “Executive Order 4547 … UR My Valentine,” while another card humorously references Trump’s desire to take over Greenland. The card suggests it’s time to define their “situationship” with a heart around the Arctic island.

One card features a sombrero, symbolizing Trump’s trolling of Democratic leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries during a government shutdown. The sombrero is humorously referred to as “My Ex.” Another card plays on Trump’s signature sign-off from Truth Social, directing the phrase “Thank you for your attention to this matter” towards the words “my heart.”

A card poking fun at Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s expansive job portfolio reads “Don’t make me work for your love,” highlighting the many hats Rubio has had to wear throughout Trump’s second term. The White House’s online jokes are reportedly crafted by Trump himself, deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, and deputy communications director Kaelan Dorr.

Overall, the White House’s Valentine’s Day cards provide a lighthearted and amusing take on some of the most memorable moments from President Trump’s second term, showcasing a playful side to the administration’s social media presence.
