Wild video shows thieves ramming SUV in $1M jewelry heist
A shocking surveillance video captured the dramatic moments when brazen thieves plowed an SUV through the doors of a jewelry store in Southern California, resulting in a chaotic $1 million heist. The incident took place at Classic Jewelers in Anaheim Hills, with the vehicle crashing into the storefront in broad daylight. Masked bandits were seen breaking display cases and grabbing valuable items from inside the store.
Owner Ramzy Tabello recounted the terrifying experience as “the scariest thing of my life,” expressing the shock and fear he felt during the violent robbery. The Orange County Register reported on the harrowing ordeal that unfolded at the jewelry store.
Following the rampage inside the store, the suspects abandoned the stolen SUV at the scene and made their escape in two Dodge Chargers. Despite the chaos, an employee managed to snap a photo of the license plates of the getaway vehicles, aiding in the investigation.
The situation took a dramatic turn as the suspects were involved in two separate car crashes while attempting to flee from law enforcement. Ultimately, all eight individuals involved in the heist, including a minor, were apprehended and taken into custody by the authorities.
