‘WINNING’: Trump Brags About ‘RESHAPING THE MEDIA’ With Shameless Infographic
President Donald Trump has once again taken aim at the media, criticizing “terrible reporting” on his conflict with Iran. He shared a graphic on his Truth Social platform highlighting his impact on freedom of the press in America.
The graphic boasted about the changes Trump has brought to the media landscape, including the departure of pundits like Jim Acosta and Joy Reid, layoffs at The Washington Post, and the defunding of outlets like NPR and PBS. It also celebrated the decline in television news ratings and the cancellation of “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Despite launching military operations in Iran that resulted in casualties, Trump seemed more focused on his media battles. He attacked the “Fake News Media” in a lengthy post on Truth Social, accusing prominent newspapers and media outlets of wanting the U.S. to fail in the war.
The graphic also highlighted Trump’s supposed victories over the press, such as the success of Truth Social, his accessibility as president, and changes in diversity practices at Disney. It claimed record-setting interviews and Trump being the first president to join an NFL broadcast.
The final section of the graphic simply stated “WINNING,” featuring a TIME Magazine cover from November 2025 that declared Trump as the victor in his war against the media.
While Trump’s attacks on the media have been ongoing for years, the escalation of tensions with Iran seems to have intensified his rhetoric. FCC Chair Brendan Carr even warned broadcasters about spreading hoaxes and fake news, implying consequences for their broadcasting licenses.
Despite the controversy, only Jim Acosta publicly responded to the graphic, humorously questioning Trump’s actions. This ongoing conflict underscores the contentious relationship between the former president and the media.
