Woman Fatally Shot in Harlem Apartment

A tragic incident unfolded in Harlem on Tuesday afternoon when a 47-year-old woman, Basilisa Negron, was shot three times and killed inside her own apartment. The shooting took place in a residential building on West 141st Street near Malcolm X Boulevard, according to police reports.

Authorities responded to a 911 call from a person known to Negron, and upon arrival, they found her unconscious and unresponsive in her apartment. Despite the efforts of officers and EMS workers, Negron was pronounced dead at the scene.
