Woman caught smearing dog poop on Trump-themed Cybertruck in Chicago
A shocking incident occurred in Chicago when a woman was caught on camera smearing dog poop on a Trump-themed Cybertruck. John Evans, who was visiting from Savannah, Ga., parked his Tesla in the Northalsted neighborhood while attending a conference. Upon his return, he found his American flag-wrapped truck, featuring Donald Trump’s gold-leaf signature on the tailgate, covered in feces.
“It’s crazy that something like this upsets somebody so much that they decided, ‘Oh, I’m going to ruin that person’s day,'” Evans expressed to FOX 32. “Well, the shoe is on the other foot now.”
Footage from the Cybertruck’s cameras showed a woman calmly wiping the mess across the bodywork. Evans believed that the vandalism may have been aggravated by the gold-leaf replica of Trump’s signature displayed on the truck’s tailgate.
After posting stills from the video on X, users allegedly identified the woman as Dorothy Owen, co-owner of Renegade Dog Services, a local dog daycare. The post gained significant attention with over 75,000 likes and 20,000 reshares.
Following the incident, the business’s Instagram account appeared to mock the vandalism, but authorities have not confirmed the woman’s identity, and Owen has not been charged with a crime. Negative reviews for the business have since surfaced online, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Despite the incident, Evans decided not to file a police report, stating that the online backlash serves as sufficient punishment and that law enforcement has more serious crimes to handle.
“I would say, we are Americans, you have an obligation to do better,” Evans emphasized. “When you do something like this, you’re making the problem worse.”
While Evans could not be reached for further comment, Owen did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for a statement. The incident serves as a reminder of the impact of actions and the importance of accountability in society.
