Wyoming power plant booming with suspected UFO, drone sightings — but still no answers after over year

Fleets of drones and suspected UFOs have been a topic of fascination at a Wyoming power plant for over a year, with the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office still on the hunt for answers.

According to reports from the Cowboy State Daily, officials have witnessed numerous drone-like objects circling the Red Desert and Jim Bridger Power Plant in Rock Springs for the past 13 months. Sheriff John Grossnickle, along with his spokesperson Jason Mower, have been closely monitoring the bizarre formations, with the latest sighting occurring on December 12.

The fleets of objects appear to hover over the power plant in coordinated patterns, leaving law enforcement puzzled. Despite their efforts, the sheriff’s office has been unable to retrieve any of the suspected UFOs, as they are situated too high up to be intercepted.

Sheriff Grossnickle sought assistance from Wyoming US Rep. Harriet Hageman, who also witnessed the formations during a visit to the power plant. However, efforts to uncover the truth behind the mysterious objects have yielded no results thus far.

Initially, the sightings sparked alarm among locals, prompting numerous calls to the sheriff’s office. However, Mower noted that the community has now come to accept the phenomenon as the “new normal.” Fortunately, the objects have not posed a threat to public safety or caused any damage to the power plant.

While the drones or UFOs continue to remain a mystery, the sheriff’s office has assured the public that they will take appropriate action if the objects pose any imminent danger. Meanwhile, Niobrara County Sheriff Randy Starkey reported similar sightings of mystery drones over Lance Creek, more than 300 miles away from the Jim Bridger Power Plant.

In a separate incident, residents of another community witnessed drone sightings over a creek, prompting relief when the objects eventually disappeared. Drone sightings made headlines last year in New Jersey, causing hysteria among the public. President Trump had to clarify that the drones were authorized by the FAA to dispel concerns about national security threats.

Despite the initial panic, the sightings gradually decreased, leading to a decrease in public interest. However, in October, an anonymous source from a military contractor revealed to The Post that their company was behind the drone sightings, adding another layer to the ongoing mystery surrounding unidentified flying objects.
