Xilam Group and TF1 Team Up For ‘Turbo Twins’

French animation studio Xilam Group has announced a new collaboration with broadcaster TF1 to develop an exciting CG animated series titled “Turbo Twins.” The series, targeted at children aged 6 to 10, will consist of 26 action-packed episodes and is set to air on TF1’s popular kids’ slot, TFOU. Delivery is expected between 2027 and 2028, with Xilam overseeing global distribution.

“Turbo Twins” follows the story of two teenage racers at Karston Speedway Summer Camp, where they compete for a chance to participate in the Nationals. Known for their unwavering determination to win, the Turbo Twins navigate a world of high-speed racing, quirky inventions, and comedic rivalries, creating a fast-paced and humorous adventure for viewers.

Directed by Solène Azernour and developed from a bible created by Philippe Rolland and Hervé Nadler, with contributions from Jessica Kedward and Kirsty Peart, “Turbo Twins” has already garnered significant interest since its introduction at Cartoon Forum. Marc du Pontavice, CEO of Xilam Animation, expressed excitement about the project, emphasizing the show’s engaging storylines and fresh take on the sports genre. He praised TF1 as the ideal partner for the series and looks forward to bringing “Turbo Twins” to audiences both in France and internationally.

Yann Labasque, Head of TF1’s Youth Programming, echoed du Pontavice’s enthusiasm, highlighting the show’s focus on family dynamics and teamwork.
