Hassie Harrison Joins Cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” Reboot
Hassie Harrison, known for her role on “Yellowstone,” has been announced as the newest addition to the cast of Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” reboot. The talented actor will be joining a star-studded ensemble that includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and the recently revealed Thaddeus LaGrone.
In the highly anticipated revival of “Baywatch,” Harrison will be portraying the character Nat, a former foster child who has transformed into an Olympic athlete. Described as the epitome of a lifeguard, Nat is depicted as brilliant, driven, and fiercely loyal. She serves as Hobie’s right-hand woman and closest confidante, holding herself and others to the highest standards both professionally and personally.
Harrison’s impressive resume includes roles in various films such as the thriller “Dangerous Animals” and upcoming projects like the modern Western thriller “The Rescue,” the neo-noir “Deep Eddy,” and the thriller “Raven.” Fans may recognize her from her recurring role as barrel racer Laramie on “Yellowstone,” as well as appearances on HBO’s “It’s Florida, Man” and Shane Gillis’ Netflix series “Tires.”
The new iteration of “Baywatch,” set to debut on Fox during the 2026-2027 TV season, features Amell as Hobie Buchannon, Belkin as Charlie Vale, Chokachi reprising his original role as Cody Madison, and LaGrone joining the cast as Brad. Fox and production company Fremantle recently conducted an extensive casting call to round out the ensemble for the reboot.
The series’ logline teases a storyline centered around Hobie Buchannon stepping into his father Mitch’s shoes as a Baywatch captain, with the unexpected arrival of Charlie, his long-lost daughter, adding a new dynamic to the mix. Cody Madison, now running The Shoreline bar-and-grill, continues to be a mentor and friend to the lifeguards, offering a familiar refuge and some free wings after a heroic rescue.
“Baywatch” was greenlit by Fox for the upcoming broadcast season with a 12-episode order, with Matt Nix serving as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto, and Mike Horowitz. McG is also set to direct the series premiere.
The show is a collaborative effort between Fox Entertainment and Fremantle, with domestic distribution rights owned by Fox Entertainment Global and international sales managed by Fremantle.
Harrison is represented by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
